Take Action!

For any position we take, we always need you to help us achieve our goals.

Here is what you can do:

1.    Join the NKTO or send in a contribution. We are low on funds and need your financial support to get our messages out. We are all volunteers and all funds go only to signs, advertising or mailings. (We have no lobster dinners!) (See 1* below)

2.    Write to  Town Council and School Committee members and express your opinion.  (See 2* below)

3.    Write letters to the editors of the local papers.  (See 3* below)

4.    Attend Town Council and School Committee meetings and voice your opinion (See 4)* below)

The North Kingstown Taxpayers Organization  (NKTO). We encourage your membership and we need and use funds only to pay for copies, postage and newspaper advertising. Our Local Newspapers

  Providence Journal     We welcome letters to the editor of The Providence Journal. Each must carry the writer's printed name, signature, address and daytime phone number. We strongly favor letters of 250 words or fewer, typed and double-spaced. Please do not fax letters. Also, except in extraordinary circumstances, we cannot consider for publication columns exceeding 900 words.
