The North Kingstown Taxpayers Organization, private citizens seeking confidence in our local government, have long said that we are looking for accountability, transparency and fairness.
The North Kingstown Taxpayers Organization, founded in the 1970's, is an affiliate member of The Rhode Island Statewide Coalition (RISC), which was incorporated 2003.
The RISC Foundation Phase I rollout of its new public service website, TheMoneyTrail.org This is a state-wide independent, free-of-charge, public-information tool designed to provide citizens with an impartial source of searchable, downloadable electronic access to public documents. TheMoneyTrail.org enables Rhode Islanders to track their tax dollars from their wallets to where and how they are spent.
We will be working to add additional North Kingstown financial information to TheMoneyTrail.Org website over the next few months.
