Candidate Forums and Questionaires
We at the North Kingstown Taxpayers Organization, believe strongly in a local government that is transparent, accountable and fair. Over the past several years we have worked to familiarize the voters with the ideas and opinions of the candidates prior to an election.
Candidate Forums
We again will be holding our Candidate Forums at the Wickford Middle School.
These are open public forums where all candidates will be given time to introduce themselves and to address any questions.
Candidate Questionnaires
We have prepared questionnaires and mailed out to each candidate for the North Kingstown Town Council and School Committee.
The Questionnaires will serve as both input to developing questions for the Candidate Forums and as a means for candidates to share their own concerns and priorities.
We plan to publish all answers in a type of newsletter, which will be distributed to local businesses. Additionally, we will post the answers on our website.
